It’s now an official announcement! Guinea Fashion Fest sisters Aminata Diallo and Binta Diallo have assumed responsibility for managing Guinea’s biggest beauty pageant, known as « Miss Guinea, » for the coming years.
These sisters already have a proven track record in organizing cultural events in Guinea. KPAAF Guinée will now put its expertise at the service of the authorities for the organization of the Miss Guinea contest, aimed at crowning the most beautiful Guinean woman of the year.
After an absence of 3 years, the Miss Guinea pageant is back with a new organization team, KPAAF Guinée (Karen Pritzker Academy Of Art & Fashion).
KPAAF won the tender and now holds the monopoly of the national beauty pageant market in Guinea.
A two-year contract has been signed between KPAAF and the Ministry in charge of culture, with the mission of revitalizing the image of the country’s biggest beauty competition. Under the chairmanship of Aminata Diallo, the KPAAF team formed COOMISGUI (Comité d’Organisation Miss Guinée) and held a press conference on Saturday March 11 2023 to announce details of the Miss Guinea 2023 pageant.
This new edition promises to be a real challenge for COOMISGUI, which succeeds COMIGUI (Comité Miss Guinée) headed by Johanna Barry.

Laurianne Doumbouya, wife of the Head of State, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, has been named official godmother of the 2023 edition of MISS GUINEE. The theme of the beauty contest is « Empowering women to combat irregular migration ».

Minister Alpha Soumah has officially signed an agreement with KPAAF-GUINEE for the organization of the Miss Guinea 2023-2024 contest. The signing ceremony took place on December 12, 2022 in the meeting room of the department in charge of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts.

The Miss Guinée 2023 competition took place in Conakry, organized by the Comité d’Organisation de Miss Guinée (ComissGui).
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Culture, and officials from Lonagui.

Sixteen candidates representing Conakry participated in the competition, which consisted of three rounds of competition.

In the first round, the candidates showcased their city attire in a group presentation. This was followed by a second round where they showcased their two-piece attire, and finally, a third round where they dazzled in evening wear.
During the third round, each candidate delivered a powerful three-minute speech on the theme of « clandestine immigration and the empowerment of young girls. »
Selection of the Finalists Miss Conakry 2023
After careful deliberation, the panel of judges selected the following eight candidates as finalists: Sona Savané, Saran Keita, Tiguidanké Bérété, Suzanne Camara, Doré Marcelle, Fatima Koné (second runner-up), Saran Kourouma (first runner-up), and Hadja Kadiatou Condé (winner), Miss Conakry 2023.
The quest for the crown of Miss Guinea 2023
The quest for the crown of Miss Guinea 2023 is about to begin with the revelation of the 22 finalists.
Pending the date of the final scheduled for next November 23 2023, 24 candidates, including misses from the Guinean diaspora, will compete in the final phase to elect the most beautiful woman in Guinea, concluded the president of COMISSGUI.
The COOMISGUI unveiled the highly anticipated list of the 22 finalists for Miss Guinée 2023, who promise to shine brightly during the prestigious competition.
These talented and inspiring young women are ready to compete for the coveted crown at the event, which will take place on November 24th.
Among them are candidates from diverse backgrounds, representing the cultural diversity and richness of the country.
Each of these finalists has stood out with their beauty, charm, and intelligence, embodying the values of excellence and grace.
The COOMISGUI believes that this year, the competition will be more spectacular than ever, with exceptional candidates ready to give their all on stage to honor Guinean women.
