The ‘OT’ Painting and Sculpture Prize
The ‘OT’ Painting and Sculpture Prize in video exhibition, was created in this first edition in an experimental manner with the creative intent and non-profit artistic promotion, by two artists: Luisella Toti, goldsmith, painter and sculptor, as well as president of the proposing association, and Ombretta Del Monte, an international painter, writer and art curator.
Who’s Luisella TOTI ?
Luisella Toti is an artist with great creative ability. She paints outside of any external contamination, free of artistic conditioning, albeit from illustrious artists of the past.
Her soul is permeated by the inescapable eclectic and creative vein that she displays in goldsmithing, painting and decoration.
His brushstrokes on lamps, chairs and armchairs are far removed from the portraiture and naturalistic works where the artist mostly represents himself, but such is his quest for experimentation that in the collection, the artist also puts in place a parenthesis of abstractionism.
In Civitavecchia, his hometown, he has created and donated, in collaboration with Donato Russo, architect Danilo Di Gennaro and blacksmith Alessandro Ricci, a 4-metre high installation made of iron and steel that reproduces the heraldic insignia of the Municipality of Civitavecchia and is placed in a green area of Viale Garibaldi.
