On the 11th & 12th of August, the Grand hall at the Freemasons will be transformed into an exhibition of African fashion, allowing visitors to peruse and purchase stunning pieces and unique creations from handpicked designers and brands as well as experience fashion on the catwalk with designers from all over the African continent.
The Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden is a district of Westminster, in Greater London, on the eastern fringes of the West End in London is a popular venue for top-class shows.
For this edition we are expecting up to 10-000-people-come-to-see-the latest fashion out of Africa-at-freemasons-hall-in-london coming to view up to 60 catwalk shows with daily exhibitions.
Africa Fashion Week London was born out of a passion and desire for change, to provide a much needed platform for emerging and established designers to showcase African inspired fashion to the world.”
This year will be two days, five shows, designers on the catwalk and exhibitors = one outstanding AFWL 2017.

“In its seventh year, Africa Fashion Week London will showcase the very best of African designs in one the fashion capitals of the world.
Our model casting for this years event took place on the 25th of June, and up to 200 young women and men, aspiring to be on the AFWL 2017 catwalk .
This year’s edition will feature designers from Ghana, Togo, Kenya, South Africa, Congo, Tanzania, Mozambique, Senegal, Uganda, and Cameroon & Nigeria to mention a few
Samson Soboye, a long established London based fashion stylist and a creative director behind the brand Afro chic, is our head stylist for AFWL 2017.
International celebrity make up artist, Abbie May our head make up artist and her team, will be creating memorable looks that have become synonymous with the AFWL catwalk.
Award winning stylist Allan Henry will providing endless hair styling possibilities without compromising healthy hair on the AFWL 2017 catwalk.
