FESTIA 2018 CARAVAN OF FASHION IN MALI  – FIRST EDITION – BAMAKO (MALI) FROM 4TH TO 6TH OF MAY

Fadi Maïga wants to shake the world of fashion, At just 30 years old.
Fadi Maïga is one of the leading women of Malian fashion. After having founded in 2014 her own company – the house Borthini   she has just launched the Festia, the Festival of Here and Elsewhere (the Festival  d’Ici et d’Ailleurs).
She wants a Festival of artistic and cultural mixing around fashion, crafts, peace and social cohesion.

FESTIA 2018 – FIRST EDITION

Fadi Maïga created for the first edition of Festia, the Festival of Here and Elsewhere .
As a part of the maon fashion show, Fadi Maïga organized a Fashion Street Show At the street  14th, in the popular district of Medina, in Bamako.
The models are doing the catwalk on the asphalt.

The purpeous  » was really that the fashion is democratized, she says, it is not reserved for a social class, it goes down the street. »
She has selected two designers by district, « tailors. » and craftman ».  She wanted to give them a chance to have some light on their work ».
