Drawn from the Wè language (western Côte d’Ivoire), Yôrôdehe means « a new sun ».
Indeed, it is above all to boost the region of the Montagnes hard hit by successive crises that the Festival Yôrôdehé has focused from its first edition on the promotion and development of woven loincloth Wè and Dan, with the conviction that it is one of the important vectors for local economic development.

If today the Yôrôdehé Festival has extended its mission by also offering visibility to the woven loincloths of different territories of Ivory Coast , it intends to devote a space to other fabrics of the African continent.
The Festival has reached maturity and is now a party more open to the general public.
Hence a sales exhibition, exchange panels, a cultural animation and presentations of textile works from various horizons.

OulyPat Creation are made in traditional African woven loincloth. with skill and ingenuity.

All of the designers brought in presenting beautifully crafted clothes mounted around the woven loincloth.

From the Ivorian side, beautiful achievements of Aimée Gbalé, Ousmane Doumbia, Stéphane Mambo, Carlos Desaules, Souleymane Fofana .

Ouli Pat has still made her heart speak. Part of the profits of the evening and 10 sewing machines will be given to young students of a sewing school in the village of Bloléquin, in the Cavally region of western Côte d’Ivoire.
