Festival Program
DAY ONE
Friday 03 December at 7 p.m.
Opening ceremony at OMCS Capesterre M-G
Presentation of associations :
UCAMAG and MG Kitesurf, The other partners Association of Merchants of Capesterre, Marie-Galante’s FTPE and – Presentation of the film crew of Charles JACKOTIN – Video projection of the start of the Island Kitesurf Festival RODRIGUE Island.
– Presentation of sponsors
– Presentation of the godfather and godmother of the first day open door
– Presentation of the Kitesurf instructor
– Presentation of the Marie-Galante Kitesurf Festival project 2021/2022/2023
– Presentation of elected officials:
The President of the CCI DES ÎLES DE GUADELOUPE, the Mayor of Capesterre, the President CCMG, the President of the Departmental Council and the President of the Regional Council, of the Deputy and of the Senator.
THE ACTIVITIES DAY TWO and DAY THREE
The activities will take place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 December 2021 from 9 a.m., in the magnificent setting of the Feuillière beach in Capesterre by Marie Galante and under the supervision of Michaël Louber, professional kitesurf instructor at the Sainte Anne, who will be accompanied by his son Enzo, junior world kitefoil champion.

DAY TWO
Saturday 04 December
Feuillère beach – 8:00 a.m.
Briefing and awareness-raising with the ARS departments on the COVID attitude and bracelet distribution
– 9:00 a.m. first Group of Trainees including the Serva deputy
– 9:30 a.m. Opening of the socio-professional exhibitor village
– 12 p.m. Freestyle demonstration starting every 8 minutes
– 2:00 p.m. Second group of trainees
– 4:00 p.m. End of the first day
DAY THREE
Sunday 05 December
Feuillère beach – 8:00 a.m.
Briefing and awareness-raising with the ARS departments on the COVID attitude and bracelet distribution
– 9:00 a.m. third group of trainees
– 9:30 a.m. Opening of the socio-professional exhibitor village
– 12 p.m. Foil and WingSurf demonstration departing every 8mn
– 2:00 p.m. fourth group of trainees
– 4:00 p.m. End of the last day
Festival Location : Marie-Galante
Marie-Galante is a dependency island of Guadeloupe, a French overseas region in the Caribbean.
Sugar fields and old windmills dot the island, also known as the « Big Pancake » for its circular shape and flat terrain.
Beaches such as La Feuillère are protected by a coral reef system.
Château Murat, on the southern coast, is a 19th-century sugar-cane plantation with a windmill, museum and restored buildings.
