CLARISSE-HIERAIX-COUTURE-PARIS
Clarisse Hieraix was born in Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe. Her parents moved to Paris, and during her childhood she discovered her passion for sewing.
In 1999, she graduated from the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
As a seamstress and Artistic Director of her own Couture House based in Paris, she collaborates with brands such as Mme Grès, Mugler, Carven and launches in parallel her own line.
Today, Clarisse is surrounded by a qualified team of pattern makers, seamstresses, and small hands with the know-how of the great Haute-Couture houses, able to satisfy a private and professional luxury clientele, sensitive to her modern signature, marked by refinement and discretion.
More than a style, her creations are the result of an exceptional know-how and are articulated around the Haute Couture, Wedding Dresses and Made-to-Measure collections which are conceived and realized in her Couture House in Paris while the Ready-to-Wear collections are sold to professional buyers worldwide.

CLARISSE HIERAIX COUTURE PARIS 2022 – AFRICA FASHION UP *SEASON 2*
AFRICA FASHION UP *SEASON 2* & SHARE AFRICA
Created at the initiative of Valerie Ka, international top model, Africa Fashion Up is conceived as both a program and a fashion show whose goal is to accompany the contemporary African fashion in full effervescence. This edition was supported by Balenciaga, Binance Charity, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, Sisley and HEC Paris, partners, and on the media side by Trace, Brut, France Médias Monde, Brune magazine and 35°Nord.
Imagined and orchestrated by the model Valerie Ka, the Africa Fashion Up is the first international event highlighting young designers from the Continent, selected during a competition by a jury of experts and fashion personalities.
A call for applications was launched last April, inviting young designers from Africa and its diasporas to participate in a fashion show and a training program in Paris. More than 90 candidates from twenty countries registered online and five of them were qualified.
