Backstage at the fashion show, the actress and ambassador of the House, Whitney Peak, and the director Ladj Ly, share with Caroline de Maigret their first impressions of the Métiers d’art 2022/23 CHANEL – DAKAR collection.
Conceived by Virginie Viard and created between CHANEL’s Prêt-à-Porter workshops in Paris and the Maisons d’art of the 19M, the Métiers d’art 2022/23 CHANEL – DAKAR collection is the result of multiple encounters over the past three years between Virginie Viard and artists from all horizons: choreographer Dimitri Chamblas, who called on dancers from the École des Sables founded by Germaine Acogny, as well as directors, musicians and authors, and friends of the House.
