LIVE – The Institute for Employment Vocations offers a unique program specifically designed for individuals who have been distanced from the workforce.
LIVE provides those who seek to build a new future with the opportunity to develop their talents.
The pedagogy of LIVE combines the recognition of acquired skills with the development of new knowledge, providing support to help beneficiaries regain confidence in their abilities and further develop them.
LIVE is a comprehensive approach aimed at uncovering a professional project aligned with the aspirations and skills of each participant.
LIVE is also a privileged environment to discover opportunities, expand one’s network, and enhance knowledge, creating the conditions for personal success.
The Origins of LIVE – Institute for Employment Vocations.
Finding employment after a period of inactivity, whether forced or voluntary, is a long and complex journey that is challenging to navigate alone.
That is why Madame Brigitte Macron, supported by Olivier Théophile, an educational committee, and the LVMH Group, created the LIVE – Institute for Employment Vocations.
Brigitte Macron are teaching classical literature to individuals aged 25 to 48 who have dropped out of the school system without a diploma and have not received any formal qualifications or employment.
Several subjects are be taught, including history, mathematics, and English.
Students will have the opportunity to receive personalized courses based on their needs.
Brigitte Macron are teaching classical literature and visit the premises in Clichy-Sous-Bois once a week discreetly, without cameras.
100 people supported per year
« We’re going to take two promotions of 50 people, with 100 per year, five months for each promotion, » explains Brigitte Macron. « They’ll receive a bonus of 1,000 euros, and will take access courses on two major projects: a supported professional project, and courses in math,s French, general culture, numeracy and English ».
If they don’t find a job after five months, they will be monitored for a further six months on their career path.
« Valence had everything we needed to set up the institute here, we wanted to establish ourselves in the south, there’s the importance of rurality here and there’s the employment pool, » explains Brigitte Macron. « When we met the local players, we sensed a real appetite for the project, and that’s key for us ». « There’s LVMH with the Vuitton workshops, I spotted Valrhona, the wine sector, biotech ».
The Institute
Its purpose is to offer individuals over the age of 25 who have not been employed or in training for at least twelve months (whether receiving social benefits or not) the opportunity to discover a vocation, develop a professional project, and access employment, entrepreneurship, or training through tailored support programs.
The program
Instead of lectures, students will attend workshops run by around twenty teachers.
They will have 9 months to create a professional project and find a job. The teachers will be able to coach them during interviews.
Beneficiaries
Aged over 25, beneficiaries of LIVE – Institute for Employment Vocations must:

- Be eager to join the workforce and motivated to develop a professional project. After a long period of inactivity, they aspire to succeed in their entry into the job market.
- Have completed at least the equivalent of 9th grade education.
- Have not held a stable job or participated in training for at least twelve months.
- Be sponsored by an employment, non-profit, or social action sector actor.
Vocations Institute for Employment (Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi)?
Aimed at people over 25 who have no training, no diploma and no job. The aim of LIVE, L’Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi, is to support people on their path to employment.
Chaired by Brigitte Macron, with the support of the LVMH group, LIVE comprises three institutes.
The first in Clichy-sous-Bois, the second in Valence and the third in Roubaix.
With LIVE, people have the opportunity to discover a vocation and gain access to employment, training or entrepreneurship. In fact, with a tailor-made support system, LIVE has helped over 200 people on their way to employment.
The Support
Developed by the pedagogical committee of LIVE – Institute for Employment Vocations, the support provided within the Institute takes place over 18 weeks, including 2 weeks of professional immersion.
The program includes strengthening key skills, developing competencies, and customized support in building a professional project.
