Pathé Ouedraogo, also known as @patheolecreateur, hails from Burkina Faso and will grace us with his presence.
This renowned figure, known across the continent and beyond, is one of those who make us dream, salivate, and sometimes even sprout wings.

Ouedraogo’s work in the fashion industry has been instrumental in bringing African textiles to the global stage. His designs, which beautifully blend traditional African aesthetics with contemporary fashion trends, have been showcased in numerous fashion shows around the world.
His presence at our event is not just an honor, but also a testament to the growing influence and recognition of African fashion globally.

Pathé Ouedraogo – Dior 2020 Cruise Collection

Pathé Ouedraogo, also known as Pathé’O, is a renowned African designer who has made significant contributions to the fashion industry.
He was involved in the Dior 2020 Cruise Collection, which was celebrated in the magical setting of the El Badi Palace in Morocco.

The collection was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior Artistic Director for women’s collections, and it proposed a dialogue between the Dior wardrobe and African fashion.
The collection centered around Wax, a fabric emblematic of the entire continent, and a unifying symbol of multifaceted fashion.

Pathé’O contributed a shirt designed exclusively for the show in tribute to Nelson Mandela.
This collaboration highlighted the rich complexity and meticulous craft that go into the fabric.

Maria Grazia Chiuri also collaborated with other artists and artisans from different backgrounds and African cultures to open a dialogue between them.
She asked Pathé Ouédraogo to create a special shirt for the collection, which pays tribute to the late president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela.

This collection was a celebration of different cultures coming together to co-create and find mutual understanding. It was a significant event that showcased the richness of African cultures and the potential for creative exchanges with other cultures.
