Lolo Andoche, whose real name is Charlemagne Andoche Amoussou, is a Beninese stylist and designer. He is the creator and promoter of the brand “Lolo Andoche” and specializes in solid fabrics, particularly the woven loincloth in Benin called « kanvô« .
His brand, Lolo Andoche, has been synonymous with originality, sobriety, and elegance since its inception.
Thanks to a passionate and dedicated team, it has captured the very essence of African fashion and reflected it in its creations.
Each garment produced by Lolo Andoche tells a unique story, reflecting the richness of African traditions and the modernity of current trends.
His creations center around the loincloth, solid fabrics, and especially the Beninese « kanvô« .
Lolo Andoche has made his first steps in the creation field by participating in the fashion show “Celebration 2000” organized by Vlisco in November 1999. Throughout his career, he has created several collections.
In collaboration with Fabrice d’Almeida, he created in 2004 the brand “Tribu ébène”, adapted to people of the African diaspora who wish to wear clothes inspired by African culture on a daily basis.
In essence, Lolo Andoche is more than just a fashion designer. He is a cultural ambassador who uses fashion as a medium to celebrate and promote African culture.
His work is a testament to the belief that fashion is not just about style; it’s about identity, heritage, and the celebration of cultural diversity

THE AFRICAN TEXTILE NIGHT IN BAMAKO
The African Textile Night in Bamako, in collaboration with Marie Kaba Haute Couture, is an event that celebrates the richness and diversity of African creativity. Africa is a continent of unparalleled beauty, rich in artisanal heritage and stunning textiles.
However, over 80% of the textile used in Africa’s fashion industry is imported from Europe and Asia.

NUIT DU TEXTILE AFRICAIN A BAMAKO
The NTA is a platform where fashion, diplomacy, and the valorization of African textiles converge. It strives to make this night a moment of celebration, exchange, and pride for the richness of the African textile heritage.
The theme of this first edition is “Fashion and Diplomacy”. This theme reflects the desire of the House of Couture to break barriers and use fashion as a universal language to promote cultural understanding and strengthen diplomatic ties between African nations and the rest of the world. When fashion becomes a means of diplomatic expression, it transcends borders, facilitates cultural exchange, and strengthens international relations.
This event aspires to transcend borders and celebrate the richness of African textiles in a participatory manner, weaving strong ties that go beyond the simple cotton thread, thus revealing the strength of the invisible ties that unite us as a continent.
In conclusion, the African Textile Night is not only an event but also a testament to the vibrant cultural, diplomatic, and industrial landscape of Mali. It is a celebration of the unity and diversity that characterize the nation, making it a truly memorable occasion.

AI FASHION MAG
AI FASHION MAG is a groundbreaking digital publication that seamlessly blends the worlds of fashion and artificial intelligence. Created by Zou & Katia, it explores the intersection of creativity, innovation, and technology. Here are some key highlights;
AI FRIENDLY
Friendly Artificial Intelligence (FAI). Friendly AI refers to artificial intelligence systems designed with specific ethical considerations to ensure they act in the best interests of humanity.
These AI systems are programmed to avoid causing harm and prioritize human values and safety in their operations. Unlike the scenarios depicted in movies where robots turn against humans, FAI aims to create AGI that would have a positive impact on humanity and align with our interests.
In practical terms, friendly AI research focuses on how to design AGI that reliably implements human values. Eliezer Yudkowsky, who popularized the term, emphasizes that friendliness (a desire not to harm humans) should be built into AGI from the start.
However, designers must recognize that their initial designs may be flawed, and the AI system will learn and evolve over time.
The challenge lies in defining mechanisms for evolving AI systems under checks and balances, ensuring their utility functions remain friendly even as they become more intelligent.
