The Asian European Fashion Week (AEFW) Spring/Summer 2024 was held at The Westin Paris Vendôme in Paris, France.
This event showcased a wide array of designers and collections, highlighting the latest trends and innovations in fashion from both Asian and European perspectives.
Moreover, Paris Fashion Week SS24 underscored the resurgence of Asian talent, especially from China, and stressed the importance of fostering connections between the Asian and European markets. Shanghai Fashion Week 2024 also made a significant impact on the fashion scene with numerous brand shows and presentations.

“When I was ten years old, I made my very first dress. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a designer,” Chona Bacaoco reminisced.
From her humble beginnings, she has shown remarkable growth in the design world.
Growing up in the confines of her barong barong (shanty house), Bacaoco often chose to help her mother in their tailoring shop rather than play outside with other children.
Inspired by her mother and her hometown of Guimaras, she picked up a pen, took her sketchbook, and got to work.
