The SRK 2025 Fashion Show, presented by Selly Raby Kane, was a spectacular celebration of avant-garde fashion and cultural storytelling. Held on Friday, April 4th, 2025, in Paris, this event brought together a fusion of bold creativity and Senegalese heritage, showcasing Kane‘s distinctive approach to design.
The show was hosted at the quartier Sentier, a vibrant area in the heart of Paris, and was organized in collaboration with Style&Connect and People Along Road Studio.
Selly Raby Kane‘s collection for 2025 continued to push boundaries, blending futuristic elements with traditional Senegalese motifs.
The runway was alive with energy, featuring daring silhouettes, vibrant colors, and intricate detailing that reflected Kane‘s unique artistic vision.

Graduating from MOD’SPE Paris with a focus on textile and apparel management, Kane launched her eponymous brand, SRK, which quickly gained recognition for its innovative and unconventional style.

The Maquis Nina at Galerie Strouk: A Celebration of Art and Culture
The magnificent Galerie Strouk hosted the debut of Maquis Nina, an ephemeral salon where art, culture, and connection flourished. Inspired by the exhibitions Paris Noir and Venus Noire, this evolving project marked its starting point with unforgettable moments and enriching experiences.
Highlights of the event included the Nina Salon, where a sound archive was recorded with incredible personalities, and the Space for Gentle Conversations, featuring seven engaging panels addressing essential topics in a welcoming atmosphere. Guests also witnessed breathtaking performances, including Sallimata Diop’s live music, Oscar Green’s live painting, and a poetry and saxophone performance by Véronique Kanor and Gilles Elie-Dir-Cosaque.
Spiritual, intellectual, and aesthetic nourishment was abundant, from Selly Raby Kane’s fashion show to the Présence Africaine pop-up bookstore. The pop-up showcased talented designers and became a hub of discovery and meaningful connections, all warmly embraced by the audience.
The event also marked the beginning of Panthéa Noir, a tribute to women who have deeply impacted the lives of Alicia Knock and Ami Weickaane.
This space is designed to honor all women who have made a lasting impression.
Maquis Nina is more than just an event—it is a continuously evolving project rooted in creativity and empowerment.
Its debut at Galerie Strouk laid the foundation for exciting endeavors yet to come.
